The 2 mountains are located in the central Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Mt. Wilhelm sharing board with Goroka and Madang while Mt. Giluwe with Southern Highlands.
Mt. Wilhelm being the highest in PNG while Mt. Giluwe is one of the 7th Volcanic mountain in Papua New Guinea.

Program
Day 1
Arrive Mt Hagen ex your domestic flight from Port Moresby. Meet/Greet and assist to your hotel.
Overnight: Ostrich Lodge
Day 2
Early morning transfer from Ostrich Lodge to the Kagoba drop off at the starting point, an old high altitude agriculture research station. Your local guides and porters will meet you there. Start walking through Until you reach the alpine grass land. Walk thought the Alpine grass land until you reach the base camp. Overnight: Base Camp, Note it will be Approximately 6 – 7 hours walk.
Day 3
Early morning breakfast and start your journey from base camp to the peak of Mt. Giluwe. (It will take you approximately 4 hours walk). At the summit you will see the magnificent views of Highlands regions of Papua New Guinea. Return from the summit back to base camp. ( It will take approximately 2 hours From Summit to base camp).
Have you lunch base camp and continue your journey back to pick up point. Transfer from Giluwe trek back to Mt. Hagen Ostrich Lodge.
Overnight: Ostrich Lodge
Day 4
Morning breakfast and transfer to Kagamuga Airport for your domestic flight back to Port Moresby connect to your international flights back home.
Accommodation in Mt Hagen is based on Ostrich Lodge. This Lodge is clean and suitable for international tourist.
Note. It is important that your clients bring a tent, & a sleeping bag, head torch, warm jacket, rain coat, good walking shoes and hand gloves to keep them warm.

Early morning breakfast and you will meet your local guides and porters there at Betty’s Lodge. start your journey from Betty’s Lodge to the base camp. ( Note approximately 3 – 4 hours walk)

Early morning breakfast at 1am and start your journey from the base camp to the summit of Mt. Wilhelm the highest peak of Papua New Guinea at 4,500 meters high above sea level. From the Summit you see the magnificent views of Highlands regions and coast areas of Papua New Guinea. ( Note approximately 5 hours walk). From start your journey back to the base camp. ( Note approximately 3hours walk). Have your lunch base camp and continue your journey from base camp to the Betty’s Lodge. (Note approximately 2 hours walk).
